Love Candles? Be in.

Love candles too? Same! Nothing better than coming home on a winters evening, making a dinner and wine and lighting the candle.

Introducing Pidgeon & Weasel Soy Wax Candles.

Post a comment at the bottom and be in to WIN a candle. A ‘Deliciously indulgent Caramelised fig candle, enriched with spice, and drizzled with manuka honey,’

Or the ‘irresistible summery Citrus Sunset candle – a cocktail of refreshing tropical and citrus fruits, that will carry you to an enchanting tropical island.’

The other candles sound pretty enticing too. Black Lavender. Buddha’s tears. Coconut Lime. Fresh Linen. Perhaps the best thing is that they’re not priced beyond the range of the Ponsonby Villa owner. Check the site for the range.

The team is Prue and Clayton, who both ‘ love living a low impact urban lifestyle’. They make these delightful soy wax candles in used beer bottles, which are donated from a local bar in Glebe called Little Guys. The result is Triple Scented 100% Soy Wax Candles, hand poured into said glass beer bottles, using paraffin lead free wicks, with unique scents and a distinctive style.

So here they are. Pidgeon & Weasel have a number of cool stockists in Australia, but have yet to hit New Zealand.

It’s a competitive market the ol’ candle market, but I think Pidgeon & Weasel are onto something. Their fragrances are imaginative and bright, and their re-use ethos is on the mark - done in a really cool way.

Again be in to win, with a comment below.
